1st Source Faculty Commercialization Award
Established in 2008 with a $1 million gift from 1st Source Bank, the 1st Source Bank Faculty Commercialization Award is presented each year to faculty from the University of Notre Dame or the Indiana University School of Medicine-South Bend who have successfully transitioned their technology from the lab to the marketplace.

Innovation Impact Forum
Startup South Bend – Elkhart is hosting an Innovation Impact Forum, which will feature curated presentations by entrepreneurs and innovators to share their insight on the best of what is happening now and also what is possible for the future of entrepreneurship in the South Bend – Elkhart Region. Designed to inspire creativity and innovation that can directly impact one’s business, attendees will hear from leaders of Kem Krest, Whirlpool, Aunalytics, EmNet, GLC Ventures, Kessington Aerospace, Pivot North, and the IDEA Center at Notre Dame.
The forum will take place at the Gillespie Conference Center in the Hilton Garden Inn on Tuesday, April 18th, 2017 by invitation only.
